Kat Parsons will bring her soulful music to The Room at Cedar Grove in Lewes at 6.30pm on Thursday, March 31.

Based in Los Angeles, Parsons is no ordinary singer-songwriter. The daughter of two professional musicians, this pianist and guitarist is known for her dramatic and evocative live performances.

“Kat is a gifted artist, and we’re thrilled to bring her to the Delaware Coast,” said local musician and chef Paul Cullen, owner of the dining room and live music venue. “She is an accomplished performer with incredible stories to tell. I know our guests will love her.

Parsons was born in Vienna, Austria. Her father was an opera singer and her mother was a recording artist. Parsons’ album, “No Will Power,” was a finalist for Album of the Year at the DIY Music Festival, and she was featured on the MTV show “Score.”

Parsons has toured or been on stage with artists such as Billy Corgan, Sarah Bareilles and Maria Muldaur.

The Room at Cedar Grove is offering dinner and a show, and the show will include a multi-course dinner with complementary wines. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Paul Kares, the nonprofit that Cullen and Jim Rivette founded to support budding chefs and musicians.

The cost for the evening is $65. For tickets, go to paulcullen.rocks/events.
