LOS ANGELES, CA (March 18, 2022) – Virgin Music Label and Artist Services today announced the signing of singer-songwriter and viral TikTok artist Lauren Weintraub. His new single “Missing You”, released today, is the first song from this new partnership.

Lauren says, “I’m so excited that ‘Missing You’ will be my first release with Virgin Music. I haven’t been this excited to release a song since my first single and this song is one of the most personal songs I’ve ever written. The night it was written I put it on TikTok and it exploded getting 1 million views and since then it has over 7 million views and has 23,000 pre-saves so I knew it It was something that struck an emotional chord.
“Missing You” is a touching and moving song as Lauren sings, “..If I ever wanna try to forget you, I know what I’m supposed to do, I gotta make sure I miss you, I just wanna say that I miss you.”
It’s an instantly memorable song and lyrics that strike at the heart of any relationship ending.
Lauren explains, “I was on the verge of tears for most of the making of the song because that was how I was able to come through a tough time emotionally. I hope it can also bring this to others. It’s about that person that you just can’t give up on, but you know you have to if you want to move on.
Lauren is currently nominated for the 2022 iHeart Radio Music Awards in the ‘TikTok Songwriter of the Year’ category for Viral Video.
