DALLAS — Twenty-five suspected drug traffickers face a slew of charges following the US Drug Enforcement Administration’s Operation Papercheck Fresh.

The large-scale operation targeted nine Dallas-area sites, including a recording studio, Dallas DEA Special Agent in Charge Eduardo A. Chávez said in a press release Wednesday.

In addition to the arrests, made on September 8, officers also seized cocaine, methamphetamine, THC, fake pharmaceutical pills, eight vehicles, 37 firearms and more than $300,000 in U.S. currency during the arrest. ‘offensive.

Those charged in a 34-count indictment, unsealed on Friday, include:

Meanwhile, Chadrick Alex, Deontate Alex, Darian Prunty and Corry Richardson were each charged with conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute a controlled substance in separate criminal complaints, the DEA confirmed.

If convicted, the defendants face life in federal prison, according to the agency.

“Violent crime is at the center of many drug trafficking organizations and the combination of drugs and firearms seized in Thursday’s operations confirms this,” Chávez said, adding, “The DEA and all of our partners charged Law Enforcement remain committed to dismantling these criminal networks and will never stop until these offenders are brought to justice.
