Do you have £2m burning a hole in your pocket? If so, could we direct you to this secluded property which is only accessible by boat? Oh, and it used to be occupied by bands you may have heard of. The likes of Oasis, Muse, Stone Roses, The Verve and Robert Plant have all stayed here, just FYI.

This is because the Old Sawmills property in Fowey, Cornwall, has his own world famous recording studio. Now available on the market for the first time in 48 years, the waterfront home is only accessible by boat or on foot, offering plenty of privacy and seclusion.

It also includes seven bedrooms and five bathrooms, a private cove and mooring right on the Fowey Estuary. And the property is surrounded by 32 acres of private woods.

This house could be for music fanatics as it has hosted many stars. Popular albums recorded at the Old Sawmills include ‘Definitely Maybe’ by Oasis, ‘In It For The Money’ by Supergrass and various Muse albums including ‘Showbiz’ and ‘Origin of Symmetry’.

The house is offered by Rightmove, who shared details of the house on their Instagram. The Old Sawmills is around half a mile by boat from the charming Cornish coastal village of Golant.
